Concierge medicine is a newer form of medical care that is growing in popularity. It is more personalized and typically involves a smaller patient roster for each doctor. This allows doctors to provide more prompt individualized care. Patients get their doctor’s cell phone number for emergencies. Typically same or next-day appointments are available.  Minimal to no wait in the office.  More personalized assistance with referrals/coordination of care.  However, concierge medicine often costs more than traditional primary care.
