Any Questions?
CWC currently lists telemedicine or phone visits among its concierge membership benefits, providing members with an additional way to communicate with their medical team when remote care is appropriate.
Medication questions can be discussed during an appropriate remote appointment. Whether a prescription can be started, changed, or renewed depends on the medication, your medical needs, and your physician's clinical judgment.
In some circumstances, yes. Remote visits may be useful for discussing home measurements, symptoms, medications, or other aspects of an established condition. In-person visits and laboratory testing may still be necessary at appropriate intervals.
You do not necessarily need to decide on your own. The CWC team can help determine whether your concern is suitable for remote care or whether an in-person visit would allow for a more appropriate evaluation.
The appropriate uses vary by situation, but remote visits may be useful for certain follow-ups, medication discussions, review of results, questions about existing conditions, or evaluation of concerns that do not require an immediate physical examination.
Remote care should not replace emergency evaluation. Severe chest pain, significant difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, or other potentially life-threatening symptoms require immediate emergency medical attention rather than a telemedicine or phone appointment.
