Any Questions?
CWC's Pre-Physical currently includes an EKG as well as ankle-brachial index testing to monitor blood flow in the legs. Your physician can determine whether additional cardiovascular evaluation is appropriate based on your results, symptoms, and risk factors.
Yes. Spirometry is currently included as part of CWC's Pre-Physical testing to evaluate lung function.
Yes. Comprehensive primary care physician services and annual physical exams are listed among Concierge Wellness Center's membership benefits. Your annual physical can also become part of the ongoing picture of your health rather than an isolated once-a-year visit.
Rather than treating your physical as an isolated yearly appointment, the results can become part of your ongoing medical record and guide care throughout the year. CWC's concierge model provides continued physician access and follow-up, allowing changes identified during your physical to be monitored as your health evolves.
Preparation begins before your Pre-Physical. CWC currently asks patients to fast for 10 hours before fasting blood work while drinking plenty of water. You should also be ready to provide information about your medical history, medications, immunizations, and dates of previous preventive screenings such as mammograms, Pap smears, colonoscopies, eye exams, and bone scans.
Finding an abnormal result does not automatically mean there is a serious problem. Your physician will review the finding in context and discuss what it may mean for you. Depending on the result, the next step could include repeat blood work, additional testing, medication follow-up, monitoring, or another type of medical care.
Certain changes, including elevated blood pressure, blood sugar abnormalities, or cholesterol concerns, may not cause noticeable symptoms early on. An annual physical provides an opportunity to monitor these and other health markers even when you feel well.
